Hosted by ecoCaledon, volunteers gather to make healthy plant-based meals for donation to the Exchange Food Bank. Gratitude for Food has been meeting up, at the Palgrave United Community Kitchen, on a monthly basis since March of 2022 - chopping and sautéing their way to help reduce hunger in Caledon.

Peel Region Paper Shredding Event
Paper shredding
Free confidential paper shredding events at Peel Community Recycling Centres.
Bring your unbound paper – such as taxes, bills, income statements and personal information – to a Community Recycling Centre (CRC) for free shredding on designated days.
A drop-off limit of 12 banker boxes per vehicle applies to ensure residents enter and exit each CRC safely and efficiently.

Roll up your sleeves and make a difference in our community! Join Ward 3 Councillor Doug Maskell and Regional Councillor (Wards 1, 2 & 3) Christina Early for a morning of local stewardship.
Whether you are looking to give back or simply want to enjoy some fresh air with your neighbours, everyone is welcome to help keep our green spaces beautiful.

Where: Caledon East Park (beside the Fire Station) | 6101 Old Church Road

Stay Hydrated: Please remember to bring your own reusable water bottle.

EARTH HOUR 2026
In partnership with the Town of Caledon and the Caledon Public Library, join us for an evening of community, creativity and climate action.
Enjoy a vibrant Earth Hour Marketplace featuring local eco-friendly vendors, dimly lit yoga to recharge, family-friendly activities including story time, arts and crafts, and 3D printing demos, plus free light snacks and refreshments along with environmentally friendly giveaways and prizes throughout the night.
Can’t attend in person? Switch off your lights for one hour starting at 8:30 p.m. and join the global movement for a sustainable future!

CALEDON DAY
This Caledon Day, ecoCaledon is partnering with the Town of Caledon to help divert as much waste as possible from landfill. By managing waste stations and guiding proper sorting into recycling, compost, and landfill, we’re proving that even large-scale events can make a positive environmental impact. Every piece of properly sorted waste brings us one step closer to a more sustainable Caledon!

PEEL CHILDREN’S WATER FESTIVAL
ecoCaledon joins the Peel Children’s Water Festival to help educate over 100,000 elementary school students from Peel region about water, waste, conservation and the environment.
